Cheryl Changes her Life by Shedding all Unnecessary REFLECTIONS OF A PATH WELL TRAVELED
Wheezing, coughing, Dr visits. Have you ever been so sick that you just can’t move, breathe, get up off the couch? One by one I couldn’t do things anymore. Skiing became non-existent, competitive-skating became coaching, and playing with the
kids became a couch potato (kids grow up). And let us not forget the desk job.
The pivotal time came when I couldn’t breath, walk up the stairs, and move comfortably. Doctors explained that I had adult
I was 225lbs and one of the unhealthiest persons I knew. I couldn’t walk up a flight of stairs. When I had to go up more than one flight, I would painfully walk up one flight, walk across the second floor, go to the other stair case and walk up the next one,
My office decided to establish a “healthy lunch time” and we would get together and walk fifteen minutes in one direction and then return within the second fifteen minutes. I began with the slow walk but every direction from my office is up hill.
You guessed it, at first I tried, then, I had so much to do and I was usually too busy or forgot my sneakers or… or… or… Luckily this new habit wasn’t forced upon us.
I would avoid all of those physical activities and others like shopping and buying clothes. I was a size 22 pants and

Boot Camp was the hardest/easiest, thing I had to do. I couldn’t breathe to begin with and when I exerted myself it only got worse. Dizzy spells, vomiting, shaking, weakness and that was only the first day! Something inside me said, “Too bad, keep going.” When Ben approached me that first time and asked what I thought, I thought “RUN for the door.” But, I knew this felt bad, but it also felt right.
The ladies were so supportive and empathetic to my plight and they knew I couldn’t do what they were doing. They even

| Lisa Changes Her Life and Wins the Biggest MOOser Transformation Contest
I have always been big. Starting in about 6th or 7th
grade, when puberty hit I started growing up, and out, and not the way I should’ve. I think I started emotional eating at that age and I think it just snowballed from there. I was only semi-active and ate horribly. I was definitely a secretive eater too (well into adulthood). If I was upset or mad about something I would go into the kitchen and pretend to do something else and then sneak a bunch of oreos into my pocket and walk back to my room like nothing had happened. I hated myself after I ate the cookies (or whatever) but they just tasted SO good!! These bad habits continued into adulthood until I finally hit
330lbs. The day I saw that number on the scale was horrible. I felt absolutely horrible. I managed to lose 25lbs by doing various programs, but I was never able to stick to them. I tried pills, the carbohydrate addict’s diet, weight watchers and nothing seemed to work. I would get bored with it or hungry and the bad habits started up again. I felt horrible, I looked horrible and I was having all kinds of medical problems. I had: high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea (snoring and stopping breathing at night) and was on the verge of type 2 diabetes. Also, I was having problems with my cycle and had yet to get pregnant (after trying for 4 years). The day I heard about the Biggest MOOser on Moo92 saved my life.
Literally. It was one of the best days of my life. I decided that I was going to apply for the contest and just hope really hard that I was picked. I can’t tell you the emotion that I felt when I was called & told that I had made it in, I was one of the final 5. I just cried and cried because I knew that this was going to change my life forever. When we started doing the Metabolism Makeover, I was extremely
scared. You have to understand that I am a very very picky eater!! Before, my list of foods I would not eat included: Mexican food, Chinese Food, Seafood, most vegetables. I thought, oh my god!! How in the hell am I going to do this??? What am I going to eat? But by working with what I liked and trying new things, I was able to make it work. The first day of bootcamp I was very nervous. People at work and The pounds started melting away and I started getting compliments that
I was “looking good” and “doing so well!!”. So many people were telling me how proud they were that I was taking this journey that my self-confidence has skyrocketed. I have never ever felt better!! I smile more, I’m much happier now. Especially now that I can wear smaller clothes!! I’m now in the size clothes that I was wearing when I was a Sophmore in High School. If those aren’t stunning results, I don’t know what are. So, here are the numbers: I started at 305lbs, size 28 pants
(I barely fit in them), size 3x shirts. Now I am 241lbs, size 18 pants and size Large shirts (some are still XL, depends). If that doesn’t motivate you to try Ben’s Bootcamp, try this: I lost 60lbs, 21 inches and 10% body fat. All in 16 weeks! And I am going to keep going until I get to about a size 12 pant. I don’t even know when was the last time I wore that size!!!!!

| Local DJ goes from couch potato and fast food queen to fitness diva I had awesome results. I lost 43 pounds–and over 10 inches. And I feel great. I love the program. It was really exciting. One of the best things for me was the fact that the workouts are always different and you never know what to expect. This keeps your mind and body fresh. It is addicting, and I absolutely loved it and couldn’t be happier with the results and feeling better both physically but also mentally and emotionally.I was very active and very physical when I was in high school and did track and field and was All-Star and all that stuff. Then my mom passed away when I was 17, and that was kind of when I went downhill as far as backing off on the physical part of life and not doing as much. I had tried the Atkin’s Diet because I had gained a lot I would just tell everyone there is no quick fix, no These are all myths. Nothing like that works. There is It’s worth it in the end when you look into the mirror Going from a couch potato, being the fast food queen

With over 10 years of
experience as an aerobic & spinning instructor, how did I ever let my body get so big and unfit? A new career that included a lot of travel, fantastic restaurants and a lack of exercise triggered my weight gain. For ten years I’ve been thick set, uncomfortable in my skin, discouraged and angry with myself. Years of Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, fads, gimmicks, yo-yo diets, skipping breakfast, sporadic exercise and never seeing the results I dreamed of.
I worked hard through 2 boot camp sessions before starting Jan 7, 2009~~the first day of the rest of my life…the
At 44, I feel better in my
skin than I did when I was in my 20’s & 30’s! I’ve learned the tools that work and the ones that don’t. Failure was not an option. I’m very hard on myself and always strive for perfection. This program is not about perfection, it’s about progress. I’ve learned to make lifestyle changes. I made this a priority every day with one vision in mind: “a lean, toned, strong, healthy body”! So far I’ve lost 34lbs, 10.3% body fat…gone! 5 1/2” off my chest, 7” off my waist, my legs, arms, wrists hands, face…all smaller…all those inches gone forever! I started as a solid 13/14 pushing 14/16…splitting at the seams. Now I’m a size 4! A SIZE 4…wow I can’t believe it. The only time I’ve seen the #4 inside my clothes when there was a number 1 in front of it!
Each day I leaned on Ben for support. I emailed him 2 and 3 With Ben as my “trek guide” and my team mates in tow, we

| Life changing, Challenging, Rewarding, and Amazing A dear friend of mine asked if I wanted to join Ben’s Bootcamp with her and I did. She also was going to take the Metabolism Makeover course so I did as well. I have been overweight for most of my life, not obese, but definitely chubby. With my
40th birthday approaching, I was hopeful that I was taking steps towards being in the best shape of my life. I had NO idea what was in store for me. The results are amazing! I’ve lost 24 pounds so far and lots of inches.
The skirt I’ve had hanging in my closet for years that I always hoped I could one day fit into is now too loose! I’ll be 40 in September and I really will be in the best shape of my life! I’ve set a new goal for myself and I’ll reach it. Last but not least- Ben Warstler our course instructor and bootcamp leader. Amy Rickman, Newport Vermont |

| Charlotte is in the best shape of her life!I went to Weight Watchers many, many times, but it was always a short-term fix. I was going to lose weight. I learned how to cheat the system, to have a good weight on Thursday, but then I realize I could use points to eat whatever I wanted. I didn’t learn anything and I wasn’t exercising. So that didn’t really help me. But since I started this program, I’ve lost a total of 34 pounds. I went from size 14 to size 6. I feel I can do things that I have not been able to do for a long time: hike and run with my family. Even though my kids are grown, we like to get together for hikes and things like that. Now I can do it. The past two weekends I finally wore a I can’t say enough good things about it. It has helped Ben, you’ve changed my life! Charlotte Tyburski, Derby Vermont |

| Thank you Ben!When I first started boot camp I loved just the workout itself. I just thought I’d always have the [spare tire] as I always called it, because I’m a pretty active person. I’d play tennis for two to three hours and waitress at night. I always thought more exercise and maybe then I’d lose weight, and every year in the summer I’d drop 7-10 pounds but every winter gain 10-15; you do the math and eventually I’d look in the mirror and wonder why my beloved spare tire was not going away. I’d even skip breakfast and live on energy bars and gatorade (aren’t athletes supposed to eat that)! Even hiking, spinning, and going to the gym never was enough to get me to I have lost 2 pant sizes and 13 pounds, and 4 percent body fat. Thanks Thank you, you have given me strength inside and out. God has blessed Laura Laramee, Jay Vermont |

Janet Embraces the Bootcamp Lifestyle and Feels Good About
Herself I have to write about this new fitness program I
am in. I have almost completed two full boot camps. I found it through my friend. She described it as the hardest thing she has ever done – and is addicted to it. She told me of the pain and sweat and competition – none of which I am fond of – or so I THOUGHT!!! Once she got me there, I was hooked……granted, that first day I almost yakked and I couldn’t really sit down to pee without tears in my eyes (legs were killing me) but I haven’t missed a class since! The soreness is gone and muscles are showing where there used to be jiggles!
I have improved in every possible way – strength, endurance, speed, agility, and attitude. If you ask me, it’s the last one that really matters! I feel so good about myself – so proud! I actually feel confident! I was never really ever looking for a challenge or a competition – and now my friend and I are working outside of class all the time to improve… You should see me with a kettlebell!!! This is no ordinary fitness class. It is brutal, competitive, pushes you Janet Dandrow, Plattsburgh New York

| Kathy learns a new way of life, and gets great results along the wayI am a pretty small person, in fact I am quite small. I have not wrestled with my weight much. But my weight really has always been within 5 pounds of where I started with Ben’s program. I was mostly motivated to change the composition of my body, only I had no idea how to do that. I have done various exercise programs over the years. I wasn’t an athlete, I am not athletic, but I do like to exercise. My husband and my children are athletes and are quite fit, and I am finding that my lifestyle is just really a lot more active than it used to be. I didn’t feel like I could keep up. We were hiking last summer and kayaking and doing I’m really happy with my results from the program. I feel better and stronger. I have more energy

| Mom of two can see her abs AND feels confident in a bikini! My name is Krystal. I am 32, and am a mother of two very active girls and work fulltime. The combination of nutrition and workouts from Ben’s program has worked great for me. I am in the best shape of my life. I have never been this fit before. You can actually see some of my ab muscles. I have gone from a size 8 to a size 3, but the most important thing that I have gotten out of the workouts is I used my inhaler during workouts at least twice, every time I worked out, and now I am to the point where I do not need my inhaler at all. It’s just a great feeling to know that I am that Now I have definition and I actually feel confident in

| Vegetarian defies slowing metabolism to be in best shape of her life! My name is Carolyn and I am 56 years old and I am a junior high school teacher. I am the kind of person that could put on weight just looking at a cupcake. So weight has always been kind of an issue, and as you get older your metabolism slows way down. So I really needed to do something. People throughout the community were whispering Ben’s name and about his program and said: you should try it. So I did I tried other programs like Weight Watchers as well as other diets, but what I think with those I never really knew what I was doing. I was just kind of ballpark guess. I didn’t know the nutritional component of the food I was eating, so this program really showed me how I was over and under-estimating things like my fats, carbohydrates and protein. The whole stress you have around food when you are I love the workouts. Well, you kind of have a I have lost 22 pounds, but I think what I am most

Nicole Scorches Competition on the Soccer Pitch
Hooray for bootcamp! Tonight I played in
an indoor soccer game-50minutes- and never in my life have had the stamina that I do now. I didn’t think I’d last a half! I do contribute it to bootcamp and the workouts that you provide. It’s nice to have someone in charge who really knows what they’re doing. Thanks!

| Kristi has success despite having only half a thyroidSix months after having my son, I had ½ my thyroid taken out throwing my body completely out of whack. I have tried just about every diet there is and nothing ever stayed with me. The longest was a year on weight watchers, but after I stopped, I gained it all back. Then a miracle happened. I read an article in the local newspaper that Ben had written. I joined Ben’s program in November of 2007 and have been enjoying it ever since.
For the first time in my life, I know I can get the weight off and be fit. Ben has showed me a new lifestyle and I am really enjoying it! I recommend anyone with a strong will to contact Ben and get your life back on track. In the 12 weeks, I have lost 12 pounds, 7.25 inches Kristi Stetson, Lyndonville, Vermont

Ask Yourself if your Program can:
-
Have you go from zero to 20 plus push ups in one month?
-
How about shaving a full minute off your 1/2 mile run time in
one month? -
How about zero to 3 pull ups, 1/2 mile run of 3:17, 47
consecutive push ups without stopping, and being a mom of 2 children?
Physical results are great performance cannot be overlooked.
With increased strength and ability comes increased confidence.
The truth is when you attack your goals with
tenacity and determination plus have a supportive group of individuals cheering
you on, it makes once impossible tasks look a little more realistic.
Low impact strength training exercises are NOT going to get you
where you want to be with your body. Get away from the strength training
machines and get back to basics: bodyweight training!

Karri Goes From Doubter to Bootcamp Fanatic
Go Ben!! It has been such a gift to participate in your Fitness Camps. During the first workout I was thinking “Now, why did I sign up for this?” By the second workout, I was hooked. The boost it gives mentally to know that you succeeded in each of the workouts is amazing. It surprised me how quickly I felt stronger, leaner, and have greater endurance. I enjoyed working out with the others. To me it wasn’t competitive, being with others, it simply allowed me to challenge myself more. Thanks for getting me jump started on the road to whole being fitness!
